Are you suffering from a panic fear of the dentist? Are you afraid to step into the dental office because of the sound of the dental drill? Would you like to fall asleep and wake up when it’s all over?
We have a solution for you! Treatment under analgosedation, or “what I don’t remember didn’t happen!” :-). You’ll wake up after the procedure without even realizing you underwent dental treatment!
Analgosedation (from Greek: an = without, algos = pain) is a state induced by a combination of analgesics and sedatives. It is a pharmacologically induced state in which feelings of fear and stress are completely eliminated. The goal is to relieve pain, calm the patient, and relax the muscles. During analgosedation, there is no loss of consciousness as with general anesthesia. The treated patient simply dozes off throughout the entire procedure and does not remember the treatment process.
Who is analgosedation (controlled sedation) suitable for?
We recommend analgosedation (controlled sedation) for very anxious patients undergoing extensive outpatient procedures and those who have difficulty tolerating the usual method of treatment. Analgosedation is also suitable for clients who have a great fear of dental procedures, especially extractions and implant placements.
This procedure requires an initial consultation with specialists!
